18th December, 2011; I had the best day with you today.

It’s funny how things happen. It’s funny one can make a decision with out a conscious choice even taking place. And it’s clearly, I’ve found, the decisions that are made on the spur of the moment that can turn out to be the best choices made ♥

The day started off with God, as every Sunday should and to church I went, promptly after which I was informed I would not proceed home to a nap but rather go to Costco. The possible movement inside is like a car Manila traffic, but the food is so cool that it’s worth it.

After Costco I had lunch at IKEA. I love IKEA food. So does Gabe Bondoc. And I love Gabe Bondoc. Irrelevant. I also purchased this cute kiddy storage unit.

So as you all probably, already, surely (of course you do, how couldn’t you after I’ve talked about it so much?) know, I attended a pilgrimage through Italy in the footsteps of Saint Francis of Asisi that delivered my fellow pilgrims and myself to World Youth Day Madrid in August 2011. I absolutely love the small group of girls I travelled with as well as the rest of Bus Sixtus. A few of the girls and guys that kept close after the pilgrimage had a little dinner at Sitney Thai and Laos Restaurant. I missed them all so much. Reunions are always good.

Had the best time with WYD kids. Anyways, I was the last to get picked up after dinner and the guys didn’t leave until my ride came. They’re so cute. Gentlemen still exist.

My sister had a Christmas party in the city so I had to go pick her up afterwards. During dinner Mati told me about the Christmas light show at St Mary’s Cathedral. The whole family, including Gucci, stopped by the Cathedral to see the Christmas lights. I’m so glad he told me about them. If you do get the chance to get out into the Sydney CBD at night you have just got to see the lights at the cathedral. They are not to be missed. Such a highlight to an already brilliant day.
